Enemy Territory: Quake Wars the future?

The beta SDK for ET:QW is out, and it looks like it may actually be closer to what we'd like to see in an SDK than what Quake 4 1.2 was. It may not be that different, just our standards have gotten lower now that we.. our standards have just gotten lower for what ever the reason. =\

It's still not the best SDK we've seen, but we'll use it. MonkK, Lucron, and I(Evolution) are currently the active developers, we are accepting new applicants daily. =) Just post on the forum in the ET:QW section(When it's setup =\), with what you have to offer..

The goal will most likely be to strip ET:QW of basicly everything, and turn it into a modern q3.. Before you ask why not q4, let me ask you why q4..? =P Would Quake 4 be easier to do this to, yes possibly, but Quake 4 has already found itself in a hole, from what I've seen. Now granted we've also decided to look at the q4 1.4 sdk and see how much it's improved since 1.2, but ET:QW is probably where we'll be, if not both.Write Comment (0 comments)
Revolution 1.38 Source Code updated and released

The source code for our Quake 3 mod has finally been archived and updated on the svn. It's available here:

We've done a lot of things, and used code from other projects and people to aid in getting this far. We maintain the copyright for our code, the code from other people and projects are released under their copyright. You may use ours as you wish so long as you give us credit for it.

There is also the possibility that *you* can continue the project here. You just need to contact us and we will "unlock" the project for you to use, and give you what you need here.Write Comment (2 comments)

fixed pm skins not working in r_vertexLight 1
fixed flag icons when not using cg_adjustTeamColors
fixed [possibly] enemy/team models not loading or not loading properly
added s_ambient
removed badnames
added basic functionality of a CPMA like superhud
updated the User Interface a bit
